Make this easy, no-bake peanut butter dip that tastes like buckeye candies. It is creamy, sweet, and perfect for serving with apples, pretzels, or graham crackers at parties or as a snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping, thawed (or heavy cream, whipped)
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, for melting

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Add the peanut butter, sifted powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the bowl. Beat until fully combined and creamy.
  3. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until no streaks remain. Do not overmix.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the peanut butter dip. Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the chocolate into the dip for a marbled effect, resembling buckeye candies.
  7. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow it to firm up slightly.
  8. Serve cold with your favorite dippers.

Notes

  • For a richer chocolate topping, mix 1/2 cup of chocolate chips with 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil before melting.
  • If you prefer a lighter dip, substitute half of the cream cheese with plain Greek yogurt.
  • This dip works well as a sweet snack dip for fruit or as a party appetizer.
