Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
  • 1/4 cup pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer or a sturdy spoon to beat the ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Fold in the finely chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, dried dill weed, and ranch seasoning mix until everything is evenly combined.
  4. Taste the dip and add more pickle juice or ranch seasoning if you desire more tang or flavor.
  5. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. If using, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  7. Serve your ultimate pickle dip with potato chips, pretzels, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For an extra layer of flavor, reserve a few tablespoons of the chopped pickles to stir in just before serving for added crunch.
  • If you want a zesty dip variation, add 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder to the mix.
  • This dip works well as a cold dip for parties; no baking is required.
