Make this easy homemade dip featuring fresh dill. It is creamy, tangy, and perfect for serving with vegetables, chips, or crackers at any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the sour cream and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  2. Add the fresh dill, dried parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  3. Stir all ingredients together until they are fully incorporated and the dip is uniform in color and texture.
  4. Cover the bowl and chill the dip in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to blend.
  5. Serve your creamy dill dip cold with your favorite chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

  • For a tangier flavor, substitute up to half of the sour cream with plain Greek yogurt.
  • If you prefer a stronger herb flavor, increase the fresh dill to 3 tablespoons.
  • This dip works well as a spread on sandwiches or as a dressing for simple salads.
