Make this simple, flavorful baked Caesar chicken for a satisfying weeknight dinner. Juicy chicken breasts cook in a creamy Parmesan coating, capturing classic Caesar salad flavors with minimal effort.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs (Panko recommended for crispness)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the Caesar dressing, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Brush the tops and sides of the chicken evenly with the Caesar dressing mixture.
  4. In another small bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs.
  5. Sprinkle the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, pressing lightly so it adheres.
  6. Drizzle the olive oil lightly over the coated chicken.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown.
  8. Let the juicy baked chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can marinate the chicken in half of the dressing mixture for 30 minutes before coating and baking.
  • Serve this creamy Parmesan chicken over cooked pasta or alongside roasted asparagus for a complete one pan chicken dinner.
  • If you prefer a crispier topping, place the dish under the broiler for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
